About the Event
Registration Now Open!

BOLD, Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development, was established in 2014 by Delta Sigma Pi's Pi Chapter at the University of Georgia. Delta Sigma Pi is America's foremost co-ed professional business fraternity and the only business-specific fraternity in the Terry College of Business at UGA. In 2018, our organization earned Chapter of Excellence solidifying the reputation of our Brothers within the business community. This reputation for greatness extends over into the purpose and realization of BOLD.

Each year, BOLD serves as a conduit for employers to connect with top candidates from the Terry College of Business through workshops and productive discussions. BOLD is the largest networking event our organization holds, with over 130 attendees and 14 companies represented in previous years.

This year, BOLD will celebrate its 5th anniversary!

During BOLD 2018, registered attendees will participate in a variety of activities:

  • Discussion Panel focused on preparation for the 2018 UGA Fall Career and Internship Fair

  • Speed-networking including informational and case study presentations

  • Invaluable Networking Opportunities between high-achieving students and recruiters.

After the event, Pi Chapter invites you to join us for dinner and open networking.

Our Purpose:

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Pi Chapter at the University of Georgia is one of the largest Chapters in the Southeastern Region. Established on February 18th, 1922, our chapter has dedicated over 96 years to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students in the field of business.

Currently, Pi Chapter's diverse brotherhood represents all Terry Majors including: Accounting, Economics, Finance, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Marketing, Real Estate, and Risk Management and Insurance. Many of our brothers major in multidisciplinary studies including those which extend beyond business.

Our members are leaders not only within our organization but within the Terry College of Business and the Athens community. We focus on building brotherhood, giving back to our community, and developing our members professionally in order to create well-rounded, BOLD individuals ready for the business world.
